ALL IS DUST

headerAll is Dust was released on June 26, 2015 by Mannequin Games LLC who also developed the game. All is Dust is a first person horror exploration game.

It’s the year 1931, you play as Thomas Joad and Oklahoma has been brought to its knees by the Dust Bowl. But the suffocating dust is the least of your problems…

Explore the dried up farm to find clues to what’s going on. Evade and outsmart the dangers of the field. Unravel the events leading up to these horrific nights. Try to come to terms with your fragile existence.

The gameplay is exploration, presented from the first person perspective. The game is super easy, you can easily avoid the monsters if you look at them. When you look at the monster they stop moving and can only hurt you when you’re not looking at them.

Shift is keybound to run. You can run for a while but you get winded and have to walk for a spell. Then you can run more.

As you find items and locations, cutscenes are presented to help develop the game’s storyline.

The atmosphere is great and probably the best thing about this game, it sets the mood perfectly and it’s just all around a really good setup for a game.

The game has more potential than substance. It takes maybe 60 minutes to play. The game lacks any options which can be a nuisance for those who have poorly configure mice etc.

F1 is keybound to quit. There is a menu to select a chapter. M is bound to a map and F is bound to select or use an item.
