The GTX 1050 will launch for maybe $150 to compete with the Polaris 11 from AMD.
The GPU has 6 pascal SMM modules which provides 768 CUDA cores. This is the same as the GTX 950 but at 1/4 the feature size.
This card is nominally 20% faster than the GTX 950 or RX 460. This likely will cause AMD to adjust prices slightly. The GTX 1050 also uses less power which is another advantage.
2GB and 4GB versions of the card will be available.
The 128-bit memory is not too bad for an entry level card so there will not be much bottlenecking.
