surface pro 4We have noticed Microsoft has released a BIOS for the Surface Pro 4. Immediately more reports are coming in that it did not fix the touch screen problems.

Recall we reported the problems earlier and the forum posts have since become flooded with hundreds of posts.

We are speculating again that a corrupt Windows installation is an all too likely reason. So far nobody has tried that.

The BIOS update also slowed the boot process. This immediately suggests that Windows needs to be installed clean.

We install Windows fresh frequently to be sure machines are running well. We have a lot of laptops and maintaining them all is a demanding job.

We noticed after mentioning reset Windows on the Microsoft forum, the message seems to have sunk in. Reset an preserve user files. This can solve many problems with software conflicts.
